Course Overview
This course is designed to help you become a compassionate, skilled, and confident registered adult nurse, ready to make a real difference in today’s healthcare environments. You will work as part of multidisciplinary teams alongside doctors, therapists, pharmacists, and healthcare assistants, providing essential care and support to patients and their families.
Your studies are split equally between theory and practice, with 50% of your time spent on campus and 50% on professional placements in hospitals and community settings. At the Clinical Skills Centre within Ninewells Medical School, you will take part in workshops, interactive sessions, and realistic patient simulations in a modern, fully equipped hospital ward. These experiences will help you develop the hands-on skills, professional confidence, and critical thinking required to thrive as a registered nurse.
