When you study at Mercy University’s Manhattan campus, you’ll have the towering spectacle of the 102-story Empire State Building just outside your front door!
Mercy University’s Westchester campus is nestled along the Hudson River with 66 scenic acres and a vibrant student life. As the home to the Mavericks athletics teams, this is the perfect place to watch a game, catch up with friends or make use of the sports facilities and large library.

Mercy University has three campuses across New York. Students have access a vibrant student life and can enjoy all the entertainment New York has to offer.
Manhattan campus
Manhattan campus is home to Mercy University International and is located in the heart of the city. Students can experience a bustling, diverse cultural life as they study.
Westchester campus
Just a 40-minute train ride from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan, Westchester is located along the Hudson River and includes a stunning central library as well newly renovated sporting facilities for students to use.
Bronx campus
The Bronx campus is centrally located, nestled in the Hutchinson Metro Center, and is surrounded by Yankee stadium, the Bronx Zoo and the gorgeous New York Botanical Gardens.
Accommodation
There are several options for living on campus at Mercy University – whether you’re in a residence hall on the Westchester campus or our brand new Dorm34 in Manhattan, there’s something for everyone.
Dorm34 is Mercy University’s Manhattan living space for International students. When you stay on campus in Dorm34, you’ll enjoy the benefits of life in New York City, only a few minutes away from your studies. It’s an affordable solution for your time at Mercy.
Westchester students have the option to apply for on-site accommodation in the student community on campus. Founders Hall is mainly for first-year freshman students from both the US and overseas. With shared bedrooms and bathrooms, the setup is ideal for student interaction and engagement.
All residential students have access to community lounges, dining services, computer labs, library study space, sporting facilities and student societies.

Personal mentorship
From the first day you are accepted into Mercy University, you will be assigned a personal mentor who can mentor and inspire you, to help you reach your full potential. The advising program will play a key role in helping you navigate the twists and turns of your time at Mercy University. Your advisor is there to help you choose the right major, understand degree requirements and register for classes, track your academic progress, develop leadership skills and to discuss your career dreams and how to get there.
Your pathway to Mercy
Pathway programs through Mercy University International prepare students for their future degree program at Mercy University with credit-bearing degree courses as well as academic and English language support.
With tailored academic and English Language support, international students who successfully complete their pathway are prepared to succeed in the remaining courses of their Mercy University degree program.
The International Year One Undergraduate Pathway Program replaces an international student’s Freshman year of study, so that the total length of degree study is the same as if joining Mercy University directly.
The International Graduate Start Pathway Programs include 9 credit-bearing degree courses, giving students a strong ‘Start’ to meeting their Master’s degree credit requirements.
All pathway programs are based out of Mercy University’s Manhattan campus in the heart of New York City.
Degrees at Mercy University
Undergraduate Study
Students who meet the academic and language requirements for entry will be offered Direct admission to Mercy University for a four-year degree. These students will take general education courses during their Freshman year which meet the requirements for their chosen major and their future years of study at Mercy University.
Students who do not meet those requirements will be considered for placement into the International Year One University Pathway Program. University Pathway students also take general education courses along with English and academic support instruction during their Freshman year. After successful completion of the Year One program, students will transition into their Sophomore (2nd) year with flexibility to change their major.
Graduate Study
Students who meet the academic and language requirements for entry will be offered Direct admission to Mercy University for their chosen Graduate Program.
Students who do not meet those requirements will be considered for placement into the International Graduate Start University Pathway Program. University Pathway students take graduate degree courses along with English and academic support instruction for two semesters. After successful completion of the Graduate Start Program, students will transition into the remaining coursework required for their Master’s Degree.
Health Science, Pre-Occupational Therapy
The Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a in Pre-Occupational Therapy, offers a comprehensive curriculum grounded in scientific principles and its practical application to prepare students for application to a graduate occupational therapy program.
Cybersecurity
With a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, students can test, implement and configure any new security software and/or technologies, apply sound security policy to their daily jobs, and provide protection and disaster recovery to companies' business systems.

International students are allowed to work part-time on-campus jobs up to 20 hours per week, during their study in the US. Please speak to representatives from your program of study for additional information, policies, and/or limitations. You may only proceed when authorized by your program and a university DSO.
Students may not work off-campus and could face termination of their I-20 and violation of their visa status and program if working off-campus illegally. Additionally, international students do not qualify for “work-study” jobs on campus.
Students should plan to have a laptop computer or tablet that can reliably connect to the internet and be used for word processing, presentations, and online research. Most U.S. universities use Learning Management Systems (such as Canvas or Blackboard) to organize course materials, submit assignments, and engage in discussions. In some cases, students may also need access to Zoom for hybrid or online synchronous courses.
